FAQs for IndiaTech Hackathon 4.0

Who are eligible to apply?

Current University Students, who are studying full time (open to both Undergrads and Postgrads) in a Hong Kong SAR University are eligible to take part. This is open to students of all nationalities.

What is the Deadline?

We are open for applications up until November 4th.

How many teams will be shortlisted?

We will shortlist upto 15 teams, dependent on number of valid applications.

When will we know if we are shorlisted?

All shortlisted teams will be informed by the morning of 5th November. We will also inform the teams that are not shortlisted.

How are the Hackathon Teams be formed for individuals?

We will match individual applicants with other individual applicants to form teams of 3.

Do we need to know coding?

This is a Business Case Hackathon. You will not need to know coding to participate.

What are the stages for the Hackathon?

  • In the first phase, all teams will be given one day to develop their solution in terms of the business idea/plan and present it to a jury of experts at end of Day1. Jury will then shortlist 5 startups to proceed to phase 2.

  • In the second phase, the top 5 teams will work with the Neutrinos Mentors to develop wireframes and prototypes. They will have 3 weeks to develop the prototypes. On November 26th, the finalists will present to a jury of top industry experts. The jury will then select the Winning Team.

Will we get mentorship?

  • Top industry experts and startups founders will be joining Mentoring sessions with each startup.

  • We will also have experts running workshops on Business Canvas Development & Pitching.

  • Mentorship for prototype will be run by experts from the Neutrinos team.
