IndiaTech HK Pitch Day Finals 2018
India Tech HK serves as a platform to engage investors and entrepreneurs with an interest in Indian Start up eco system in India, HK China Greater bay and in India. India Tech HK & Metta, in Association with the Consul General of India for Hong Kong organised a PITCH DAY event to provide the entrepreneurs an invaluable opportunity to pitch their business idea to eminent investors and seek funding for their start-ups. The event received 650 + applications from several aspiring entrepreneurs around the globe eyeing for the unmatched opportunity to seek funding for their businesses from investors themselves and grab a cash pot of HKD 15,000. The pool of entrepreneurs that sent in applications were looking for network support, connections from investors and funding spanning the range $100k to $10 million for supporting the growth of Angel to Series A/ Early Series B start-ups.
Representatives from some of the world's largest VCs supported India Tech and helped them to shortlist Top 6 candidates out of the application pool through rigorous screening. 650 applications were reduced to 100 during the semi finals round which was further reduced to 6 final pitches for the Final Pitch day that was held at METTA, Central, Hong Kong on 12th July from 6PM to 9PM.

The event was well attended by investors, entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, businessmen, Indians and non-Indians as well. We had finalists fly down from India to Pitch Live as well as virtual pitching session by participants from UK & India who couldn’t attend in person.

Mr. Jeffrey Yam gave a keynote on Investing in India and lessons for Foreign Investors.
